What is the best way to get from Glasgow to London (Earl's Court) in mid July? I'm hoping via rail.?

4 adults and 2 kids ( 12 years and 1 1/2 years old). I have no clue where the train stations are but we are staying central Glasgow and need to get to Earls Court area in London. Would like to take the train but need some help figuring out the travel details (ie stops, distance to hotels, etc.) Any advice would be appreciated.|||The best rail route from Glasgow to London (Euston) is with Virgin Trains. The fastest services take 4 hours 40 minutes. The cheapest tickets are those you book as far ahead as possible for specific trains www.virgintrains.co.uk or go to the ticket office at Glasgow Central Station. A family railcard will give the adults a further 34% discount and the kids 66%. discount

From Euston Staton catch the Underground to Earls Court - Victoria Line to Green Pak then Piccadilly Line|||From Glasgow Central Station, get the East Coast train to London Kings Cross. After arriving at Kings Cross, get the southbound Picadilly Line from its underground station (King's Cross St. Pancras) to Earls Court! =D
