Will cons continue to drift right until the entire party is one guy named Earl polishing a gun in the dark?

This is the level of ideological purity cons seek to attain.|||yes|||Given that Eisenhower, Nixon, Jerry Ford, Teddy Roosevelt and Honest Abe would all be considered RINOs by the current GOP/Teabag/Fox 'News'/Jesus Inc. party, the assumption is that anyone who wants to become a leader of this organization will have to move further to the right than the next guy. They'll also have make up their own American history, insist that our Constitutional government isn't constitutional and this country was founded on 'christian principles'. They'll also have to deny that there's a difference between micro and macro economics and that in the last 100 years political and economic power and influence hasn't shifted first from small farmers to a balance between Big Labor and American corporations and now to the trans national corporations that the GOP/Teabag/Fox 'News'/Jesus Inc. party pimps for. If we had a Supreme Court stocked with the most rabid right wingers...and that may happen...all of their decisions would be by definition 'constitutional' as this body is the SUPREME court...they get to decide. The same would apply to a moderate court or a 'progressive' court. You can't have it both ways. Kitchen table economics are different from macro economics because nations can create money, remove cash from circulation, inflate or deflate the currency and issue bonds.....for better or worse, you can't do that from your kitchen table. This country was 'founded' on June 21st. 1788 when New Hampshire became the 9th state to ratify the Constitution. Before that there was no 'United States'. The signers of the Constitution made NO reference to religion except that congress could make no law concerning it one way or the other. The did put in that no religious test was required to hold office and the Presidential Oath of Office, Art.2 Sec. 1 last paragraph does not include the words, 'So help me God', and does not require a Bible to take this oath. Evidently the legislators in the various states that signed onto the Constitution were okay with leaving religion to the 'private sector' except for a few ceremonial observances and icons. Basically the GOP/Teabag/Fox 'News'/Jesus Inc. movers and shakers want to gut 'our' government...a government of, by and for the 'people' and replace it with some kind of fascisti lash up where corporate boards of directors use the 'government' to to rape, rob, swindle, cheat, steal from, clear cut and strip mine the North American continent. Sort of like the 'Borg' for you Star Trek fans...."You will be absorbed..resistance is futile!" We'll see about that!|||So. This question is what a liberal considers enlightened thinking? It's a good thing that I'm the worker that pays taxes. Imagine the quality of work this person can do.|||No, but liberals and "progressives" will keep moving left until they reach a mental institution.|||yes i call it the self destruct botton. they have pushed it some many times they will soon cease to exist but arent smart enought to know it.|||You will be too busy polishing knobs to notice.|||I'm guessing you fantacize a lot about guys polishing their "guns" in the dark, eh?|||Sure! And I'm the Earl you are talking about. Now go redistribute everyone else's wealth but your own.|||An he'll be a-polishin' it with the soft leather dust-jacket of his family's bable!|||I had an uncle named Earl. He was crazy about phones though.

I'm the gun nut!|||My God you liberals are so damn clever today. Sure wish CLEVER counted for intelligence|||...while he's kicking his dog and beating his wife.|||Is that you Joe Biden ?
