Can Hurricane Earl suddednly change track overnight?
I live in eastern ct and under a tropical storm warning already, but it is possible hurricane Earl to change track, turn west a little and hit CT? Or is the track clear where it will go? I know if it turns west about 100 miles west, it could make a big difference.|||Yes while it is possible it's very unlikely. Generally speaking the radars are really up to date now a days. Years ago it was much more likely. I do believe at times the weather channel "makes it a bigger deal" then it actually is.|||Well the tracks are not accurate. What the models predict the track will be and what the hurricane really does are 2 different things. There is always that chance that any hurricane could change its course it just depends on the 2 high pressure systems that Earl is moving between.|||I studied the clouds and radar carefully. IU think the showers and earl might be able to hit you. But i bet you're safe, cause u are closer to the edge then the eye of the storm. So it will hit you, but you'll get at least, my guess is, umm at least 50--65 miles per hour winds. Or somewhere around 30-65 mph. So u will be safe! ^_^ Need more info? Go to The Following Site: http://www.stormpulse.com/|||Probably,but since its getting closer its path gets more predictable and accurate|||i don't know..i have a bad feeling the track is gonna turn west again and hit closer to ct..|||hurricanes can go where they want.|||ive herd of that but not to sure maybe but not sure
