What is the female counterpart to an Earl?

I know for a Duke it's Duchess, for a Count, it's Countess, for a Prince, it's Princess, etc. What about an Earl? I doubt is Earless, but then again, I could be wrong.|||Queen|||Countess. The male title of Count does not exist in the UK and the title of Earl exists only in the UK.|||Countess.
