If you had to choose would you take your Car to Maaco or Earl Scheib for a paint job?

My 1994 Lexus emerald green paint is starting to fade white, I want something fairly cheap done. I am trying to decide between Maaco and Earl Scheib, I noticed that Maaco where I live is in the Better Business Bureau and Earl Scheib is not.. What do you think? Thanks!|||they both do the same quality work. as far as people saying dont go there, go somewhere else and get a better paint job...

you can get a better paint job there. just because they offer a cheap 300 dollar paint job doesnt mean thats all they do. they do the same quality paint jobs as anywhere else, but they cost more.

either one would be fine, i would go to both and talk to the guys, and whoever offers the best warranty would be my choice|||MAACO by far the Better choice.|||Both are just a name. It boils down to who is acutally doing the work. Ask around and find some people who have used them and see which are more satisfied. I would prefer the fade to it peeling off which is what you will have from either one of them after a year. You get what you pay for.|||Save your money and get it done right. Why waste money on a cheap paint job? Go to a good high quality body shop and the paint will look good and last a long time.|||Quite honestly, let it fade... Deciding between those two is like

asking which kneecap you'd like to take the bullet in...

The car is a 1994. The year now is 2009... That's a 14 or 15 year

old car.. Save the money for something to keep the car working well

mechanically, rather than cosmetically....

Just my opinion......|||if i had to choose id choose maaco, they do a little better job than scheib does, either one is cheap though, you get what you pay for when it comes to a paint job, good luck.
